Globe-trotting director and educator Edmund has set trends and mentored stylists across the world, gathering a serious fan-base along the way. Having shared his craftsmanship and skills across many continents over the years for TONI&GUY he is delighted to be opening a salon with Becky in Highgate – the place they called home for so many years and raised their family.
He’s known for his flawless cuts with his precision cutting, whether classic or contemporary, earning him an international reputation. A man who loves his work and his clients, Edmund believes, “hairdressing is creative and social at the same time.” Seeing the transformation a great haircut can make to a client gives him immense satisfaction.
And when he’s not on the salon floor Edmund can be found with the wind in his hair sailing or skiing; he’s not adverse to good food and a glass of robust red wine either.
Edmund has been cutting my hair for over four years and I have never been disappointed. I’ve had long hair cut to short, fringe’s cut in and then grown out and loved every style. I really value his advice too. If I have a cut I want that I have seen in a magazine we will discuss how that would suit my face shape and make adaptations to suit me better. I’d never go anywhere else.
Reassurance of being in experienced and creative hands is priceless. Always tailoring new ideas and styles to me.
Edmund’s experience and knowledge of always knowing exactly how I want my hair styled is why I haven’t changed stylists in years – he always does a fantastic job. Service is always friendly and served with excellent coffee!
I found Edmund and Becky 17 years ago, and have never looked back and used anyone else. It’s all in the cut and style – they are more than good, they are special. Even though I live abroad for 5 months in the summer, I return to London every August to get my haircut by them.
